Plastic tube with intumescent material inside
Protecta® FR Service Transit consists of a round, high-temperature-resistant plastic pipe containing an intumescent graphite-based cladding material that responds to heat build-up and foams to fill gaps or cavities around cables and pipes, preventing the passage of flames, smoke and gases.
Properties
- Safe, easy and fast installation to stop fire service penetrations
- It can be used in tight spaces where it is difficult to install a normal fire seal at a later stage of construction of the building
- The cap in the middle prevents the penetration of cold smoke
- For cables, plastic pipes and cables inside plastic pipes (wiring pipes)
- Classification for fire sealing of all types of structures: plasterboard, masonry or concrete walls and concrete floors
- The product can be installed in several ways: pouring into concrete, masonry into concrete, masonry or plaster; or insert into larger holes with Protecta® FR Acrylic, FR Board and EX Mortar
- Certified for PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ABS, SAN + PVC and
- PP pipes, plus all types of cables up to a certain diameter
