Fire-retardant foaming tape
Protecta® FR Pipe Wrap is a graphite material that reacts to the increase in heat and, by foaming, fills the gap created by melting the pipe in the passage.
It can be used with plastic pipes (PVC-C, PVC-U, PP, PE, PE-HD, ABS and SAN + PVC), bundles of plastic pipes with or without cables, and with metal pipes with flammable penetration insulation.
Properties
- For plastic pipes from the smallest dimensions up to Ø 400 mm for designs with different wall widths
- For metal pipes with continuous flammable pipe insulation
- For wiring pipes
- Pipe strips are available in two sizes; they are prepared for most common diameters and in 25 meter rolls for all diameters
- Certified for PVC-U, PVC-C, PE, LDPE, MDPE, HDPE, ABS, SAN + PVC and
- PP pipes
- Tested and certified for end U / U piping applications
- Classified for fire seals in all types of constructions
