Fire protection coating for cabling
Protecta® Service Coating FR-1 is an intumescent water-based coating for fire protection of cables in operational installations. The coating improves the insulation and integrity of the installation, is non-toxic, environmentally friendly and durable.
Properties
- Non-toxic, environmentally friendly product with almost zero content of volatile organic compounds
- Durable, can withstand cleaning with a damp cloth without the risk of the paint washing off
- No further surface treatment is required; excellent coverage is achieved by brush or spray; the product can be applied in one layer, which saves color and especially the application time
- The durability of the coating is estimated at at least 12 years
- The product does not contain halogens; contains preservatives that prevent the spread of bacteria and fungi and thus protect health; environmentally friendly and user-friendly
